At some point, I wanted to use writing as a decorative motif. I found that most people wanted to see what I had written and not on the pot, (I have only once done a deliberate ‘meaning oriented’ writing on beer mugs, where I made a crossword of drinking related words.)

So I decided to make the ‘writing’ look like a script, sometimes even like a particular script, but it is not actually any script. And when anyone would ask what script it was, I would say ‘Iramese’ with a very straight face.
